Located at the heart of the Queensland Estate in Thatto Heath, the eco-friendly Green Base is a community hub for learning about horticulture, green space and the environment. It also provides a home and training centre for the Green Space Service.

The Green Base is one of the most energy-efficient buildings in the country, meeting the global Passivhaus standard, which means it offers typical energy savings of around 90% compared to a normal building.
